Rachel Clément is a Partner and Co-chair of our Insurance Law Group. Her practice focuses on civil and professional liability matters, particularly on construction law.
She represents insurance companies before the Quebec courts and her clients in various Alternative Dispute Resolution Processes.
Rachel Clément has also developed expertise on construction law, having frequently represented architecture or engineering firms as well as building inspectors throughout her career. On numerous occasions, she has acted for construction professionals in cases raising questions such as:
- The liability of construction professionals involved with major building projects;
- The liability for faulty design or lack of supervision.
She also represents contractors and subcontractors against general civil liability claims. She also acts in product liability cases.
