Selection process

Students are selected according to their transcripts and personality. Those who meet the standards and values of our firm are invited to a first interview.

Following this brief meeting of about 20 minutes, the Recruitment Committee will select the candidates who will be invited to a second meeting, where they’ll have the opportunity to chat with some of the firm’s lawyers in an informal setting.

At the end of the recruitment process, RSS will offer articling positions to three or four candidates.

Please note that our Montreal office adheres to the Recruitment Agreement that governs the recruitment process, while our Saguenay office, although not bound by a similar agreement, follows the same calendar and process.
