Véronique Pagé is an associate in our Family Law Group, and her practice focuses on legal research and file preparation. Her interest in this area of law emerged early on in CEGEP, when she was studying paralegal techniques, and subsequently became a real passion over the years.

Véronique began her family law practice when she was articling with a boutique law firm in Old Montreal. Her responsibilities included performing legal research mandates and preparing pleadings for hearings before the Superior Court and Court of Appeal: lists of exhibits, authorities, submissions and forms specific to family law matters. She also appeared in Court for motions and assisted a senior lawyer in hearings before the Superior Court and Court of Appeal, as well as in settlement conferences.

While in law school, Véronique interned with Superior Court judges, thus gaining precious insight into the courts’ expectations for lawyers, especially with respect to file preparation.
