Emmanuelle Campeau is a partner in our Insurance Law Group. Her practice focuses on negligence and professional liability matters, as well as tax litigation, where the issues are always challenging. She successfully defends lawyers, notaries, engineers, architects, building inspectors, brokers and doctors in various major files.
Emmanuelle has often represented parties in contractual disputes, which has allowed her to develop strong experience in the validity and interpretation of contracts. She has also defended municipalities, general and specialized contractors, and other businesses in the construction industry against major claims.
Emmanuelle is a skilled negotiator who has participated in multiple settlement conferences and is always attentive to her clients’ requirements. She is also accredited as a civil mediator by the Bar of Quebec.
Furthermore, Emmanuelle has worked as a lecturer for the Master of Taxation program at Université de Sherbrooke’s School of Management. She has also written several articles on various topical issues in the world of tax litigation, and prepared conferences for audiences of professionals such as lawyers, accountants and trustees in bankruptcy.
