David Kellerman is a Partner in our Family, Business and Sports Law Groups. He also serves as Head of the Sports Law Group.

His practice focuses on Family and Sports Law. In this regards, he serves as Deputy Director of Sanctions and Outcomes for Canada’s Abuse-Free Sport program. He also represents professional athletes in matters of marital and estate planning.

David sits as an arbitrator on doping hearing panels and represents professional boxers in various contractual disputes with promoters or governing bodies. He is also a member of the Sports Lawyers Association.

As a family lawyer, David has extensive experience in highly complex matters involving child custody, spousal support, division of assets in high net-worth families, and files before the Youth Court of Québec. He is also very experienced in family matters involving indigenous children and the foster care system.

David is the host and creator of Motion to Podcast, a video podast on family law. In the last years, he has created numerous videos on the different aspects of family law.
