Mathieu Labrie is a paralegal in our Business Law Group. He provides support to the group’s members on questions related to corporate law.
Mathieu assists lawyers with various files related to mergers and acquisitions, as well as structural, fiscal and commercial reorganizations. He prepares documents for incorporations, amendments, continuances, winding-ups, extra-provincial registrations, rollovers, and other operations involving shares.
Mathieu also performs due diligence checks, examining corporate records to ascertain their adequacy. He searches various electronic registers held by provincial and federal authorities, analyzes the results of those searches, and then writes the reports lawyers need to draft legal opinions.
