RSS Sponsors the Pierre-Basile-Mignault Moot Court Competition

May the best litigator win!

RSS is one of the sponsors of the 45th edition of the Concours de plaidoirie Pierre-Basile-Mignault, which will be held on February 10 and 11, 2023 at the Faculty of Law of the Université de Montréal.

The Concours de plaidoirie Pierre-Basile-Migneault is an advocacy competition between the six Canadian civil law faculties. The competition is based on a mock judgment rendered by a trial court in a civil law setting.

The RSS Cup as well as a $500 scholarship are awarded to the competitor having presented the best oral argument. Two lawyers from our firm, Maxime St-Onge and Samuel St-Jean, will be there to support the students and to award the Robinson Sheppard Shapiro cup to the best litigator.
