It is with deep sadness that we learned of the death of our former colleague, friend, and partner Mtre Louise Baillargeon, on July 17, 2026, at the age of 78.
With a long and distinguished career in transportation law, Louise was recognized by both her clients and her peers as a leading authority in this practice area. She was listed for many years in the legal directory The Best Lawyers in Canada and was named in 2019 Lawyer of the Year for Transportation Law in Montreal, a recognition that attested to her expertise.
We will remember her outstanding professional qualities, as well as her contribution to our firm, where she practiced as a partner from 1996 until her retirement in 2018.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Louise has been involved for many years with her community’s underprivileged youth who practiced swimming.
