Andrew Penhale is a partner and the former CEO of RSS.

Andrew is recognized by his peers for his leadership, his capacity to foster unity, and his business acumen. He also has extensive knowledge of legal mechanisms, having been a litigator with our Insurance Law Group for several years. At that time, he mainly worked on malpractice cases involving lawyers and notaries, but also took on other types of insurance files.

Andrew left the firm for five years to head the Claims Department of the Quebec Bar’s Professional Liability Insurance Fund. Cases handled by the Fund under his direction have contributed to shaping the domain of professional responsibility in Quebec as we know it today.

With his experience of managing the Fund’s team of professionals, as well as his business administration education, Andrew was appointed Chief Executive Officer of RSS upon his return to the firm in 2020 until 2023.
