Flash Interview with Annie Claude Beauchemin

Annie Claude Beauchemin practises civil and commercial litigation, and has exceptional experience with bankruptcy and insolvency cases.

What made you choose your area of practice? I always liked justice. Not a regime where everybody would get exactly the same thing. The complex variety of justice, requiring a lot of thought…

Your greatest professional satisfaction? Pleading before the Court of Appeal.

What was the most embarrassing moment in your career? I was having lunch with a client and I got getting carried away while narrating something. I violently hit my full glass, triggering a flood of tomato juice that instantly spilled in the client’s plate, carrying his piece of salmon: the whole mess ended directly on his shirt… Never in my life have I been so embarrassed…

On a desert island, what would you carry? Lemme see… Food or a hair dryer? I guess I can always find some kind of food on the island. All I’ll need is a source of power for the dryer.
