Louis Dessureault joined our Family Law Practice Group in 2016. Previously, he practised with a specialized boutique firm. In addition to working on his own files, Louis assists the firm’s partners on cases with more complex questions and stakes.
Ever since his call to the Bar, Louis has handled numerous complex divorce cases with varied economic stakes, mostly because they involved public or private corporations with numerous shareholders or family trusts.
He also led cases involving more complex legal questions such as interprovincial or international child abductions.
Louis is a seasoned litigator and appears before the Superior Court and Court of Appeal of Quebec, and is also involved in settlement conferences proposed by the Superior Court.
